Charity Organization St. Pete Fools Announces Third Annual Golf Tournament Benefiting Tampa Bay Charities
The Non-Profit is Partnering with Local Businesses to Raise Funds and Awareness for Tampa Bay Charities
Tampa Bay, FLA (February 8th, 2023) – The St. Pete Fools Social Club is hosting the third annual charity golf tournament at Bardmoor Golf and Tennis Club on Sunday, April 30th, benefitting various charity organizations in the Tampa Bay area. The scramble format tourney will include grand prizes for hole-in-one, longest drive, and closest to the hole, complimentary lunch, and a banquet dinner at game’s end.
The St. Pete Fools are still looking for sponsors to provide food, competition prizes, and raffle prizes.
“Our sponsors play a huge role in putting on this golf tournament, without them it would be impossible to meet our goals of supporting charities throughout Tampa Bay,” said Tony Mangiafico, founder of “The Fools.”
Last year, the St. Pete Fools raised over $50,000 for Angels Against Abuse, a non-profit organization that strives to provide care and assistance to children and families in the foster care system in Pinellas County who have been abused and neglected; and Brookwood Florida, an organization dedicated to providing troubled teen girls with an alternative living environment and therapeutic program encompassing education, employ-ability skills, independent living training, and counseling that will prepare them for self-sufficiency or a successful family reunification.

services or monetary donation to underwrite the provided dinner.

Monetary, prizes or in kind for longest drive, closest to the hole, or hole in one winners

Value of $100 and above. Donating party can promote individual or business with prize.

Details: A charity golf tournament to raise funds and awareness for women and children in the Tampa Bay area. The event will feature a scramble format golf game with grand prizes and raffles, complimentary grab & go lunches, catered banquet-style dinner catered by Gratzzi and more. The tournament will host grand prizes for multiple categories including longest drive, closest to the hole, and hole in one, as well as raffle prizes for guests to win.
Admission: For spectators is free, $175 per participating golfer, and $700 for groups of four.
