St. Pete’s Local Mexican Eatery Launches New Featured Tequila Cocktails September 12
TAMPA BAY, FLA (September 6th, 2023) – Mark your calendars: a tequila sampling event is coming to Nueva Cantina! On Tuesday, September 12th, the St. Petersburg local Mexican cantina is hosting an exclusive event featuring the flavor exploration of the renowned Código 1530 Tequila. The sampling event is free to the public and 21+. Nueva Cantina will also have their full dining menu available for purchase.

Spicy Troubadour | Elevate your senses with the fiery combination of Código 1530 Blanco Tequila, zesty lime, sweet agave, and the bold flavors of muddled jalapeños and cilantro. All served with a tantalizing Tajín rim, this cocktail is an explosion of taste you won’t want to miss.
Blame it on Rose | Let the evening unfold with the enchanting blend of Código 1530 Rose Tequila, zesty lemon, delicate agave, and the mix of soda water and Prosecco. It’s a sparkling symphony that will make you “Blame it on Rose!”.
Guests will also receive exclusive Código 1530 swag gifts to make the evening even more memorable.

CÓDIGO 1530 TEQUILA: Código 1530 Tequila is produced with a blend of highland and valley agave, steam, and pressure cooked in autoclaves, then milled using a roller mill. An organic baker’s yeast from a family bakery in Amatitán is used for fermentation, following which the mosto is distilled twice in stainless steel pot stills to create Tequila.
NUEVA CANTINA: Nueva Cantina is a relaxed, affordable neighborhood spot that serves exciting contemporary Mexican cuisine. The chef blends care and authenticity with the creative urban flourishes that distinguish the food of native Mexico. At Nueva Cantina, the tortillas are hand-pressed, the guacamole is made to order, and the margaritas are thoughtfully crafted yet boldly flavored and rooted in tradition. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner every day and offers an a la carte brunch on Sunday from 11am – 3pm.
