Hotel Flor’s The Dan Awarded Florida Restaurant & Lodging “People’s Choice”
Downtown Tampa Restaurant Secures Prestigious Award at 31st Annual ExTravelganza
TAMPA, FLA (November 27th, 2023) – The Dan, located in Downtown Tampa, recently secured the “People’s Choice” award for Tours of Taste at the 31st Annual ExTravelganza event hosted by the Tampa Bay Hospitality Alliance. The Tampa Bay Hospitality Alliance (TBHA) is a partnership between the Hillsborough County Hotel & Motel Association and Pinellas Chapter of the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association. Through the annual fundraising event, ExTravelganza has provided a path for students to achieve their educational goals by providing scholarships in Hospitality and Culinary Studies.
Tours of Taste offered attendees the chance to experience the culinary scene of Tampa Bay with food and beverage samplings from some of the area’s top chefs and restaurants, and renowned wine and spirits from top producers. A people’s vote named Hotel Flor’s ritzy dining establishment, The Dan as the winner for the “People’s Choice” award.
Hotel Flor Tampa Downtown is a proud partner of the Tampa Bay Hospitality Alliance’s philanthropic initiative to provide opportunities to young scholars in the Hospitality and Culinary Studies.
