From Monday, August 10 through Friday, August 14, guests can enjoy a Crispy Chicken sandwich and specialty cocktail the Crowned Buccaneer, both crafted to celebrate the city’s culture and community spirit.
813 Day, observed annually on August 13, honors Tampa’s area code and the pride residents take in their city. Throughout 813 Week, local restaurants and bars across Tampa join together to offer special menu items and pricing in celebration. Palmette Brasserie and Bar is proud to take part in the citywide tradition with two crave-worthy additions to its menu.
Crispy Chicken — $8.13
Palmette’s take on a classic, the Crispy Chicken features a buttermilk-marinated chicken breast topped with crisp lettuce, ripe tomato, tangy pickles, and a spicy mayo, served on a soft bun.
Crowned Buccaneer — $8.13
Inspired by Tampa’s hometown football team, the Crowned Buccaneer is Palmette’s playful spin on a Jim Beam Apple Cooler. The cocktail blends Jim Beam Apple, peach schnapps, fresh lime juice, and cranberry juice, shaken and served over fresh ice in a textured Collins glass, garnished with an orange wheel. The result is a simple, fruity, and refreshing drink with a vibrant red hue and an easy-drinking balance of crisp apple, sweet peach, and tart citrus.
Both specials will be available for dine-in guests at Palmette Brasserie and Bar from Monday, August 10 through Friday, August 14, while 813 Week festivities continue across the city.
