Tampa Waterfront Resort Introduces Craft Cocktails, A Giant Sushi Boat, and Live Entertainment
Tampa Bay, FLA (September 11, 2019) – You don’t have to travel far for paradise. Just in time for Fall, The Godfrey Hotel & Cabanas just debuted their latest craft cocktail and sunset happy hour menu at WTR Pool & Grill.
The handcrafted cocktails include ‘Thee Empress’ made with gin, cucumber soda, lemon, and lime; ‘Death Before Midnight’ made with absinthe, raspberry liqueur, and champagne; Ol’ Smokey with bourbon, black walnut bitters, cherry juice, and candied orange; and Tampa Sunset made with rum, pineapple juice, orange juice, and a cherry garnish.
Also featured on the cocktail menu are two (2) spiked dessert cocktails dubbed Grandma’s Cheesecake and Mint Dream. Grandma’s Cheesecake is made with cognac, while Mint Dream is crafted with vanilla ice cream, whiskey, white chocolate liqueur, and creme de mint. Each libation from the latest cocktail menu is $11 and $8 during happy hour, Monday through Friday from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm.

Libations by the Bay
Sip pretty by the water with uniquely, handcrafted cocktails like the Bramblin’ Around made with vodka, muddled blackberries and lemon, and ginger beer; or the Coco Loco with rum, cream liqueur, coconut milk, vanilla bitters, honey, and sweetened coconut flakes.
$5 Bar Bites
The happy hour menu includes eight tasteful dishes for $5 and $7. The fare includes Calamari, Coconut Shrimp, Mac & Cheese Rolls, Cheese & Charcuterie Board, and introduces sushi items like Dragon Roll, Spicy Salmon Roll, and Rocky Point Tuna Roll.
“Aye Aye, Capt’n” Sushi
One of the newest items on the WTR Pool & Grill menu is the sushi platter. This feature includes the chef’s sushi roll of the week and a choice of 2 more rolls with sashimi and nigiri, served up in a magnificent wooden boat.
Live Music & Entertainment
The entertainment lineup at The Godfrey Hotel & Cabanas Tampa includes live bands on Fridays from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm, “Rosé All Day” brunch & beats from 11:00 am – 6:00 pm, and “Pool Party Sundays” with live entertainment by various DJs starting at 11:00 am.
Sunset Views
With the “best sunset in Tampa Bay”, as noted by Mayor Bob Buckhorn, locals can dine or lounge around the fire pit tables, capture the best selfies, and overlook the bay at the end of the resort’s pier.
