Promotion Recognizes Bufalino’s Creative Leadership and Impact on Social Media Campaigns
Tampa Bay, FLA (February 4th, 2025) – Evolve & Co, a St. Petersburg advertising agency, announces the promotion of Samantha Bufalino, a University of Tampa graduate, as Social Media Manager. Bufalino, who joined the agency just over a year ago as a Brand Management Intern, has quickly become an integral part of the team, excelling in social media strategy and content creation.
“I was interested in joining Evolve & Co as an intern because I loved the idea of working with multiple brands at once,” says Bufalino. “I wasn’t sure where my niche would be yet, so I was excited by the opportunity to experiment with various brand voices and discover where I could best contribute.”
Over the past year, Bufalino has become an essential part of Evolve & Co’s social media team. She attributes the agency’s success in social media to its team’s forward-thinking approach. “Evolve & Co is always looking at market trends. Our team is very creative in nature, and through working alongside insanely talented and revered creators, I discovered a true passion for the craft.”
As Social Media Manager, Bufalino leads social strategy including brief writing, trend research, content outlines, shot list development, photography, videography, editing, copywriting, scheduling, engagement, growth, and analytic reporting.
Evolve & Co. works with a diverse set of clients, each with its own unique brand identity, which requires a tailored approach to social media. “Taking into account a brand’s overall messaging and brand voice, the agency curates content specifically to brand – some are playful, some are mature, others corporate,” Bufalino notes.
Bufalino’s approach to staying ahead of social media trends reflects her keen understanding of what resonates with audiences. “I like to let trends come to me naturally,” she explained. “Trying to force research is not always effective. If a trend is coming to me without me searching for it, then I know it is actually generating great views and consumers like me are seeing the same content. I like to be aware when I’m scrolling to take notes of my favorite trends.”
Bufalino also offers advice for up-and-coming social media professionals and interns: “The key is to get as much experience as possible,” she shared. “Before joining Evolve & Co as an intern, I had two other internships that helped shape my skills in different ways. There are so many opportunities in the industry whether it be with agencies, small businesses, social media for your school in clubs, etc. Trying to be a part of any of those teams can really make you feel more comfortable when moving into a professional position.”
In this role, Bufalino looks forward to broadening her skill set in all aspects of a full service agency. “I was able to hone my skills in adapting to varying brand voices, and take on new roles such as performing market research and planning and executing product photography. I am excited to continue doing this in even more ways,” says Bufalino.
