Renowned Tampa Bay Artist SKEL to Host “Birth of SKEL Toons” Art Show at Hotel Flor Tampa
Tapestry Collection by Hilton Hotel to Transform into Black Tie Gala Art Show Featuring a VIP Cocktail Hour, Live Entertainment, & Art for Sale
TAMPA, FLA (November 21st, 2024) – Renowned contemporary artist Jason Skeldon (also known as SKEL) has chosen the historic Hotel Flor Tampa Downtown to host his upcoming art show, “Birth of SKEL Toons”, a black tie gala event. The Tapestry Collection by Hilton property event space will be transformed into a lively museum featuring four runway shows, 200 new pieces from Skeldon’s latest collection, special surprise performances, eight bars and various DJs for live entertainment. The event takes place on Friday, December 20th from 7:00pm – 11:00pm.

ABOUT JASON SKELDON: “SKEL” is the alias for Artist Jason Skeldon, originally from Las Vegas, Nevada. The artist has resided most of his life in Tampa, FL. Jason has work hanging all over the United States including Los Angeles, New York, and Miami. His art style is influenced by pop culture and current events, and he uses spray paints, acrylic, watercolors, stencils, and resins. Jason’s work can be seen in his gallery at the Hard Rock Casino in Tampa, FL, the Crown-N-Bull, Opes Health, International Mall Tampa, and Aloft Hotel Orlando, FL. Some notable clients include Kevin Hart (comedian), Taylor Swift (singer), Akon (singer), Rashad Evans (MMA), Hulk Hogan, Phil Heath, Ian Somerhalder (actor), Wade Boggs (baseball), Jameis Winston (football).
