The Dan Celebrates Tampa’s 813 Day With Five Dishes, Each Only Just $8.13
Hotel Flor’s Popular Restaurant Toasts the City’s Area Code With Wings, Sliders, Empanadas, and More All Priced to Match, August 13–16
TAMPA, Fla. (July 31st, 2026) – The Dan, the signature restaurant at Hotel Flor in downtown Tampa, is marking 813 Day with a citywide favorite: a limited-time menu where each included dish is priced at $8.13, in honor of Tampa’s area code. From Thursday, August 13th through Sunday, August 16th, guests can dig into five signature bites, each for only $8.13. The lineup includes crispy fried Chicken Wings served with celery, carrots, and housemade ranch; Chips & Salsa made with corn tortilla chips and fresh salsa; Wagyu Beef Sliders stacked with two patties, brioche buns, American cheese, 1000 Island, and dill pickle; sirloin-stuffed Beef Empanadas paired with black bean hummus and fresh pico; and Roasted Red Pepper Hummus served with carrots, celery, broccoli, and radish, finished with aged olive oil, sea salt, and aged balsamic.
“We wanted to give Tampa a reason to come celebrate the city with us,” said Justine Bragg, the Director of Operations at Hotel Flor, “813 Day is about Tampa pride, and this menu is our love letter to the neighborhood. The celebration comes as The Dan continues to build momentum with a variety of activations. The restaurant’s newly launched happy hour runs Sunday through Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. On Friday evenings, that happy hour gets a historic twist as part of the hotel’s centennial celebration series, counting down to 100 years since Hotel Flor first opened its doors with themed drink specials, live music, and nods to the property’s Roaring Twenties roots. Guests visiting for 813 Day can also get a first taste of The Dan’s newly revamped dinner menu, featuring an expanded lineup of Gulf Coast-inspired dishes alongside guest favorites.
The $8.13 menu will be available for dine-in at The Dan from August 13th through August 16th, at both lunch and dinner service, while supplies last. Reservations for The Dan are recommended and can be made on OpenTable or by calling (813) 318-9719.
