The American Red Cross is working with officials to reach those who have been affected by Hurricane Helene. Over 1,000 Red Cross disaster responders are working to support those in need, and have provided tens of thousands or overnight shelter stays, meals, and snacks.   1.  Feeding Florida

Feeding Florida has a network of food banks and partner agencies that work to serve all 67 Florida counties all year-round. During times of crisis, Feeding Florida increases their serviced by up to 300% to provide relief to those in need.

  1. The Salvation Army

The Salvation army is providing disaster relief in the form of emergency aid, food, drinks, emotional and spiritual care, and critical supplies. This aid is being offered to affected parties and rescue crews spanning across five states. To help the Salvation Army bring relief, you can make a financial contribution.   1. GoFundMe

GoFundMe’s Hurricane Relief Fund is a preventative fund, collecting donations ready to be allocated when a hurricane strikes. GoFundMe sends cash grands directly to individuals who need help within 24 hours following a hurricane. 

 

100 grants have already been sent out to survivors of Hurricane Helene, and GoFundMe plants to continue donating as more money is donated to the fund.
